a very productive day 10:21 PM July 12, 2010
Pre-note: A big shout out to Sarah Phan for mentioning me in one of her posts. Yes I do miss you too. Remember the days where we would verse each other or sometimes team up and defeat Danny etc. in Find-a-Word. I must grab myself a few of those books to indulge myself in them when I'm bored and feeling down. OH! That's right and my jigsaw puzzle that Danny also gave me and how for some reason out of nowhere everyone made it with me. LOL! Good times spent at Saturday Viet School. Be sure to visit this lovely girl's blog. You won't be disappointed. It's like a breath of fresh air.

As mentioned in my previous post or two, I talked about how I will be having a birthday lunch with the girls. It turned out the most of them couldn't come so it only came down to just myself, Amy, Anne and Tram who enjoyed our time together at Cafe Amore in which I chose myself.

This cafe is exceptionally sophisticated and it has a very nice ambience. The food is alright I guess. Let me give you a warning beforehand if you ever decide to visit that cafe. DO NOT order the Ravioli if extremely salty food doesn't excite those little taste buds of yours. They won't like it. By the way, a great drink to have if you are still under eighteen years of age is to order Lemon Lime Bitters. This drink will get rid of any sickening feeling that you get when you have ate too much. Another warning. Finish the drink AFTER the meal. Or else you will not be able to enjoy the rest of your dish. The rocket salad there is EXCEPTIONALLY good. It is to die for. I give it five Anne stars. Ravioli was given one Anne star by Anne herself. We soon realised that for some strange reason. Our group has matured in a way that no one could ever think possible. We don't seem to go out to birthday parties and get all drunk and stuff anymore. We tend to go out for birthday lunches now. How sophisticated of us right? In a way that is good, but shouldn't that hit us next year instead of this year? So lunch ended. We all went our own ways as we had things to do. I for one only wanted to do one thing. Shop my heart out. I mean come on SALES! Everywhere. Who could resist.

I roamed Rundle Mall all by myself and did three hours worth of shopping and honestly time and money spent wisely today. I bought myself a lingerie set down at Myer along with a nice pair of leggings and stockings for thirty dirty bucks. Great bargain if I do say so myself. A pair of heels at which I spotted down at Betts. Very high black patent heels. I'd probably say it'd be a platform but then again who am I to say it is or not. They were only forty dollars. Pity I didn't have enough money on me. Stupid one dollar short. But let me tell you, I will get my hands on them. My psychic skills tell me that it will be hot in my hands this upcoming Saturday. I will definitely take a photo for you guys when I buy it. Those aren't the only bargains I bought. I got two nice cocktail dresses perfect for any occasion at Myer also. Both short, one strapless and the other has really thin straps. One is plain in color and simple and the other has little mini circle patterns, gray in color. The gray one? Night out with Eve. The baby pink? Wayne by Wayne Cooper. Let me tell you cheap bargains. The Wayne Cooper dress was the only one left whereas the Night out with Eve, if I can recall correctly had a few leftover. I scored myself my favorite brand of perfume in which I have ran out and have been meaning to get it.Vera Wang-Princess. This woman is amazing. She has wedding gowns, perfumes, home accessories etc. You should visit her website.I finally found the perfect wallet to replace my old one. Although my old one is an authentic Gucci one, I thought since everyone is getting into the craze of having wallets in the form of a clutch. Why miss out on the hottest fashion statements these days. So I scored myself one of these wallets/clutches down at Sportsgirl. I also bought a few pair of earrings at Diva, you should really think of heading down there. Although these earrings weren't on sale. They were a part of the new range. The paris range and the Vintage range. Very elegant looking. Let me tell you another bargain. It was on sale down from thirty or was it twenty five. Well any one of those two prices, they only have a difference of five. So guess how much it got slashed down to? Nine, ninety five baby! That's right! It was such a nice pattern. I think I took a photo of it. Maybe if I can find where I put it then I can post it on here along with the dishes we had today at Cafe Amore.

Anyways, I believe it is time for me to stop rambling on about my life. I think that maybe tomorrow I will post up more of my photos and write a few more stories for The Nutmeg. So below are photos of the dishes at Cafe Amore and guess what I found the photo of my wallet/clutch. So hope I didn't bore you out to death.

P.S: Cafe Amore is situated on Pulteney Street, Adelaide CBD. BUONA NOTTE TUTTI!

 Our Table

Anne's Ravioli di Spinach e Ricotta

My Cotaletta Parmigana

 Amy's Cannelloni della Casa

Tram's Chicken Caesar Salad

 Amy and her meal

Anne put off by the amount of sauce in her Ravioli dish.

My clean plate. Attempted to finish it. FAILED

Amy already full but also attempting to finish it. FAILED!
Anne's thumbs down. The red stuff is ALL SAUCE

Felt bad to leave with all our plates unfinished. So we divided the garlic bread into four.

Look at that clutch. Who's is it? MINE!

And again. Only this time with my papaw.
