Reminiscing... 11:46 PM June 19, 2010
When we think of the living, however, we have a very different set of expectations.
People who are alive are in process.
They are growing, developing, evolving, changing.
We speak to them and of them in the present tense.
We can share a relationship with them.
We can converse, argue, ask questions, share ideas.
We value their presence.
We cherish their companionship.
Happy when they are near, we miss them when they are far away.
They are a vital part of who we are; we matter to them and they to us.

That was a little verse in the Dominews in which I found very insightful at church today. Anyway, Friday the 18th of June 2010, marked the end of Harry Potter Week for the year twelves at St Aloysius College. Hone stly, I would do anything to relive that week all over again. As you must have read from my previous post, I was Cho Chang. XD So the week began with everyone into the Harry Potter mood. Most people had character names. Practically all characters were taken. Incredible. Our subjects changed, we were sorted into houses (I ended up being in Slytherin. Pretty devo), the tables in the study centre were aligned in columns, signs were put up, quidditch sign up sheets were up, Platform 9 and 3/4 was up, a sorting hat cake was made, cut and ate, etc.  The two most interesting was the Quidditch tournament and the shared lunch. Quidditch was absolutely amazing. Best experience I have had in my life. Nothing will be able to compare to it. There were only two teams. Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. Obviously Gryffindor won..... We had broomsticks, snitches, and bludgers. How amazing is that. Shared lunch? Stunning. So much food, everyone ate to the point of no return, well to the point they couldn't eat anymore, there was a massive bread in the shape of a crocodile, BUTTERBEER, cake, croquembouche, pasties, cake, pies, chips, biscuits, soft drinks, spiders etc. Most successful shared lunch ever. So the week ended.

The weekend began, Saturday came. Pretty devastated this morning as I missed out on my weekend dose of Sonny with a Chance. To add on top of that. Saw a great pair of Monty heels today, for fifty bucks. That's right, FIFTY FRICKEN BUCKS! In a nice natural colour as well. Not to mention patent and high heels. But no. The heels had to be one centimetre too big for my feet. So I left the store pretty devastated. But then, mum decided to cheer me up by buying me a large cup of my favourite beverage at Gloria Jeans. A Cookies and Cream Mocha Chiller heavenly much. Not to mention the fact that she bought me two books today. The Carrie Diaries-Candace Bushnell and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner-Stephenie Meyer. So I spent the rest of my morning and afternoon. Sitting in my bed, endulging myself in my beverage and absorbing every single word contained in the two books. I was in my own fabulous world. For afternoon tea, I made myself a bowl of creamy chicken soup with toasted sandwich slices with spreaded butter. I got to admit, it was a great dish. Made me full for the rest of the day. So I downloaded a movie today. Disney's latest, StarStruck. Starring the one and only Sterling Knight from Sonny with a Chance. Great movie. Songs were amazing. So catchy that I ended up downloading the whole album. So now, I must complete my practise test for Chemistry, statistics project for maths studies, magazine cover reflection for english communications and so many more. My exams are nearing. I need to start revision for that also. Soon. Very very soon. So I must end my post here. I'll let you experience my week through the photos. Enjoy.
